Elizabeth Miller was born on 19 March 1757, in Brookes Corner, Fauquier, Virginia, British Colonial America, her father, Mathias Miller, was 32 and her mother, Catherine DuBois, was 16. She married Jesse Claypool in 1775, in Hampshire, Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 4 February 1834, in Wyoming, Bath, Kentucky, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Wyoming, Bath, Kentucky, United States.
