Elizabeth Jeeves' origins have yet to be established. Her first confirmed sighting is on 15th February 1753 when she married a labourer and victualler named John Thrussell at Hitchin. They went on to have three daughters baptised at Hitchin between 1753 and 1759.

Elizabeth died a few weeks after giving birth to her third daughter, Ann. Ann was baptised on 2nd May 1759 and Elizabeth was buried on 17th June 1759. Baby Ann died a couple of months later.
