"Mrs. Florence Crumrine Wolf, 84, widow of John H. Wolf, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1957, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. George E. Shaffer,
New Oxford, Pa.
Born in Carroll County, a daughter of the late Rinehart and Martha Houck Hoofnagle, she was the last surviving member of a family of 10 brothers and sisters. She had lived in New Oxford since 1925. She was twice married. Her first husband, Franklin Crumrine, died in 1915. Mr. Wolf died in 1941.
Mrs. Wolf was a member of First Lutheran Church, New Oxford
Ladies Aid Society and United Lutheran Church Women.
Besides the daughter at whose home she died, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. J. Stoner Geiman, Westminster; a step-son, Lloyd C. Wolf, New Oxford; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.
Burial will be in St, David's (Sherman's) Church Cemetery."
