    Elizabeth Catherine Hausenfluck was born in Shenandoah County, Virginia, in 1784, daughter and oldest child of Henry Hausenfluck and Margaret Fertig. After her mother died about 1806, some of the children of Henry Hausenfluck went to stay with their uncle Henry Fertig, who had moved to Augusta County, Virginia. There Elizabeth married Isaiah Russell, May 31(bond), June 2, 1808, and was listed as the spinster daughter of ______ Hasafluck. Isaiah and Elizabeth lived in Augusta County until about 1831, then moved to Taylor County, Kentucky, where he died in 1838 and she died October 11, 1855, age 71. Elizabeth Catherine was mother of ten children.
