  BREWSTER- Elizabeth L. Humphrey, 62, died Nov. 10 at the Brewster nursing home after a long illness.
  Mrs. Humphrey was born March 1, 1916, at Canyon in Whitman County.
  On July 18, 1943, she married Roy Humphrey at Mason City (now Coulee Dam).
  Mrs. Humphrey had attended high school in Walla Walla and St. John and one year at Washington State College.
  Because of ill health, she retired in December of last year from the Pateros library after eight years of service.
  She is a member of the Pateros Grange and the Alta Rebekah Lodge.
  Surviving are her husband, Roy, at home; a son, Russell E., Spokane;  three daughters, Mary E. Ross of Sweet Home, Ore., Judith L. MacDougal of Newport, Ore., and Barbara A. Mandarino of Spokane; her father and stepmother, William and Betty Harvey, Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Robert Harvey, Spokane, and Donald Harvey, North Bend, Ore.; a sister, Doris Kearney, Apple Valley, Calif.; several granchildren and a great-grandchild.
  Private memorial services were held in Spokane. Precht Funeral Home, Brewster, and Thornhill Funeral Home, Spokane, were in charge of arrangements.
