Elizabeth Mary Harry was born in 1870, the youngest child of a shipwright named William Richard Harry and his wife Jane Drake, a charwoman. In the 1871 census, Elizabeth was living at home with her parents and siblings at 25 Claremont Street, Plymouth.

Sadly Elizabeth Mary died when she was only eight years old, in 1878.
