From incidental comment in Margaret (Mar-Lo) Conine letter of May 21, 1984, it may be that Elizabeth's father was Thomas Harman, the first ordained Seventh Day Adventist of Gilboa, OH about 1858. There were a total of 14 children, but 3 died of infant infirmities. Can't help but notice marriage date and birth date of first child, assuming that records are correct. It is very probable that she was married and died at Gilboa, OH or nearby. Marilyn Corbin provided data that she has photo of her gravestone: Elizabeth C. Oren, 1841-1929. Jan 2002 email from Ida Meyer ([email protected]) said that Elizabeth Catherine Oren was the daught of Ira L. Harman and Rebecca Buckingham (4 children by that marriage). After Rebecca died he married Phoebe McClure and they had 9 children. Ida's r grandfather was Charles A. Harman of that second marriage. She mentioned other living relatives in her message.
