Margaret Conine stated that David had 2 sons and "several" daughters. I had to assume that one of these daughters married her father. Margaret (Mrs. Carl "Cloyce") Conine had a daughter, Nancy Jeanne Conine. Margaret Conine had a brother named Dewey ( b. Mar. 3, 1919 to Lawrence and Corda (Hale) Oren; d. Feb. 27, 1997 in Florida. Dewey married & divorced Marie Sheidler with children Patrick Lee, Paul Eugene, and Pamela Mae. #2 wife was Opal Grant and their children Belinda and Vicky Lee- see Mar. 15, 1997 letter from Nancy that includes more family data on Dewey's family, not including Margaret). Ironically, I have yet to get this family data clear or complete from Mrs. Conine. I have received great assistance from both Margaret and Nancy Conine, so this comment is added only to caution that I may have some data of this family somewhat confused. If important, seek added documentation. Mrs. Conine contributed to an article in the August 1980 issue of the Gilboa Gazette where she mentioned that Pratt Maidlow and Dave Oren went to Canada to shock wheat and never returned.
