The marriage records of Roane County Tennessee, 1801 - 1855, Willis Hutcherson and Marilyn McCluen, 1973, page 102; bond and license.
        From the Knoxville paper, "The Western Chronicle," Volume 1, issue 17, September 2, 1829.
        "Married on Thursday evening the 20th August, by the Rev Samuel Douthat, Mr John W Winton to Miss Eliza Browder, youngest daughter of Mrs. Fanny Browder, all of Roane County."
