Pioneer Resident Dies

Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds Passes Away at Home.

Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds, pioneer resident of Sioux City, died of a complication of disease at her home, 2027 Palmetto street, Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Reynolds was born in Yorkshire, Eng., in 1884, and came to the United States when she was 20 years old, taking up her residence in Sioux City.

She is survived by her husband and five children, Harry, Horace, Stella, Helen and Bernice; and three brothers, Thomas and Charles Beaumont, of Pasadena, Cal., and Edward Beaumont, of Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held at the home of the deceased at 10 o/clock Saturday morning. Interment will be made in the Whiting, Ia., cemetery.

Number and names of passengers who died on the voyage says "Nil", but it is known that Harriet Beaumont contracted diphtheria and was buried at sea. They landed in Philadelphia. Samuel had previously arrived and set up a butcher business in Sioux City, Iowa.
