Publication(S) (Society of Colonial Wars in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts), Vol. 10, p. 120, says Elizabeth sister of Henry Barnes married Nathaniel Coffin. The death record of Nathaniel Coffin in Nantucket in 1781 labels him "h. Elizabeth (d. Henry Barnes Esq.)" and this is frequently copied. However, the record in Nantucket is not a town record but a contribution of William C. Folger, and appears wrong since the marriage is in 1747, far too early for any of Henry's children to reach adulthood since he himself m. 1746.
