The ceremony was performed by Rev. F.S. Bacon of the Baptist Church and was witnessed by a large number of friends and relatives. The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white albatross cut "en traine" with tulle veil. She carried a bouquet of roses. Two little misses, Mattie Parker and Lydia White acted as bridesmaids. At the close of the ceremony congratulations were extended, after which the evening was passed socially with music and games. Shortly after ten o'clock Mr. and Mrs. Graves were driven to the residence of the groom's father, Mr. Philip E. Graves, on Pleasant St. where they are to make their home. The wedding gifts were beautiful and numerous and embraced a large quantity of silverware. Among the guests present were Miss Olive M. White of North Caroline and Captain Martin L. White and family of Boston. References
