The WPA Index to NH Records shows that Benjamin Griffin and Susannah Lary had bans of matrimony published in Wolfeborough, NH by Mark Wiggin, Town Clerk on 21 June 1801. This would mean that Elijah Griffin born Dec 11, 1802 could be their first child. Anne Griffin, brother of Israel and Daniel, born in 1805 in Wolfeborough could be the next known (or next surviving, child)[m. Jonas Wells, 21 March 1826]; John L was born 7 January 1812 in Shelburne Addition (Gorham), NH [m. Cynthia Fickett Leighton]; Benjamin ca. 1814; Mary Evans 21 Dec 1815 in Shelburne Addition [m. James C. Gordon]; Israel ca 1813 [m. Amy J. Libby]; Daniel on 12 July 1817 in Hastings, ME [m.
