George B. Donaldson of Winchester was the informant on Lucy Donaldson Tackett's death certificate. He said that Lucy's mother, Eliza Tacket Donaldson was born in Virginia.

Mrs. Eliza Donaldson died Feb. 5th at the home of her son, W.O. Butler Donaldson in Winchester. Buried Sunday in Winchester. She lacked twenty-four days of being 86 years old. Her maiden name was Tackett and she was a native of Prickly Ash neighborhood, this county. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Jack Fleming and Mrs. Miranda Fleming of Oklahoma, the only surviving sibling of a large family. She was widow of W.W. Donaldson ("Uncle Gully Bill" as he was called). Surviving children are: Fletcher of Upper Prickly Ash; John B. of White Oak; Mrs. Coleman Stone of Washington Branch; Mrs. Miranda Atkinson of Stanton, Powell county; Mrs. David Jackson of Powell Co.; Geo. W. and W.O.B. of Winchester. See also under Odessa.
