Conner was to convey, by deeds of special warranty, the lot of land purchased by Baylis Tackett, as guardian for said Romulus, Marcellus, and William D. Jackson

Baylis Tackett was the boys grandfather and both his daughter Frances and her husband Elias Jackson had died. Elias had been previous married to Elizabeth Swetnam and her mother, Martha Swetnam brought this friendly suit to protect the interests of Martha and Elias's son George.
