Elisha was in Guilford Co., NC by 1795...the year he married Elizabeth Fryer. Elisha appears on the 1800 Guilford Co., NC Census. He bought land from his brother, Jonathon, in 1800 (see Jonathon) and sold it in 1802. He then appears on the 1804 Jackson Co., GA Tax Record but was back in Guilford Co. by 1805 according to this deed:

Guilford Co., NC land deeds: Bk 10, pg. 162 December 5, 1805 Thomas Duglas to Elisha Driskell for $300...100 acres on Birch Creek being part of a tract granted to Thomas Morgan wit: Nathaniel Kerr, Edw. Pritchet, Sadey Cormann Recorded Nov 1810

Elisha is next found in Washington Co., IN, on the 1820 census, living near his brother Elijah.
