OBIT:DESCENDANT OF PIONEER IS DEAD-Elizabeth Kuhn Died at Her Home in Stone Creek Valley This Morning Anna Elizabeth Kuhn, aged 74 years, 6 months and 4 days, died at her home in Stone Creek Vally this morning, following in death her brother, John P. Kuhn who died last Thursday. She was the last child of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Kuhn, who came to York township with his parents in 1809 when he was a boy, his parents being among the pioneers of the county and of York township. The grandfather of the deceased took up a tract of land which is still known as the Kuhn farm. She is survived by five nephews, three nieces and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Daniel Kuhn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at the Jerusalem Reformed church in Stone Creek valley, Rev. J.H. Rettig of the First Reformed church in New Philadelphia officiating.

OBIT:SISTER SURVIVES AGED BROTHER JUST FIVE DAYS Miss Anna Elizabeth Kuhn, aged 74 died Monday morning after a week's illness at the old Kuhn homestead in York township. Death was due to pneumonia. Miss Kuhn is the sister of John Philip Kuhn who died last week. At the time of his death, his sister was confined to her bed. Death Monday morning was sudden. Miss Kuhn's forefathers were among the early settlers of this country. Her great-grandparents came to America in 1798 and located in Pennsylvania. In 1809 they came to Tuscarawas county where they settled on a tract of land containing 600 acres. The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from the home, and interment will be in the Jerusalem Reformed church cemetery. Rev. Rettig of New Philadelphia will officiate.[PattiOlsson.FTW]
