  • Bath County, VA Deeds: Vol 11 Pg 157 On 2 Oct 1837: William Pritt and Martha his wife, James Pritt and Nancy his wife, Isaac Pritt and Margaret his wife, and Edward Pritt all of Bath County, John Pritt and Margaret his wife, Elijah Pritt and Elizabeth his wife all of Randolph County, Edmund Pritt and Elizabeth his wife, Robert Pritt and Ruth his wife, James Miller and Elizabeth his wife, Margaret Miller, Mary Miller, and Sarah Miller, James Miller and Anna his wife, all of Nicholas County deeded to James Brown of Bath County a 94ac tract of land in Bath County on the south branch of Wilson's Run called the Little Valley being the remainder of a tractof land the belonged to John McAvoy deceased. Also a 40ac tract of land belonged to Edward Pritt deceased being part of a tract that belonged to John McAvoy The land sold seems to have been previously divvied out to the children of Edward Pritt (Pritt's of Bath, Randolph, and Nicholas Counties) and grandchildren of Edward Pritt (Miller's of Nicholas County).
