Elijah and Nancy were found on the 1850 Lewis Co, VA census with their family. When checking WV vital records I found two Elijah Fleshers, both sons of John Flesher and Elizabeth Edmunds. Each Elijah had entirely different information and neither birth dates agreed with Matilda's father being 50 years old in 1850.
