Joseph Read's (20th) regt.; muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775; enlisted April 30, 1775; service, 3 mos. 9 days; also, company return dated Sept. 26, 1775; also, order on Committee on Clothing, payable to Adams Chapin, dated Roxbury Camp, Nov. 29, 1775, signed by said Partridge and others belonging to Capt. Warren's co., Col. Read's regt., for amounts due for bounty coats which they acknowledge to have received from said Chapin. References
