REVOLUTIONARY WAR SERVICE

Volume 11, page 992:

Partridge, Sheffield, Mendon. Corporal, Capt. William Jennison's co. of Minute-men, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775, to Cambridge and Roxbury; service, 9 days; reported enlisted into the army; also, Capt. Samuel Warren's co., Col. Joseph Read's (20th) regt.; muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775; enlisted May 4, 1775; service, 3 mos. 5 days; also, company return dated Sept. 26, 1775; also, order on Committee on Clothing, payable to Adams Chapin, dated Roxbury Camp, Nov. 29, 1775, signed by said Partridge and others belonging to Capt. Warren's co., Col. Read's regt., for amounts due for bounty coats which they acknowledge to have received of said Chapin.
