  8.   "Homeworth -- Eli W. Davis,, of RD 1, Homeworth, died at his homeSaturday of a cerebral hemorrhage after an illness of four days. Mr.Davis lived in Homeworth all his life and held memberships in theHomeworth Evangelical Church and Sons of Veterans. He is survived byhis widow, Ellen[incorrect as she had died in April]; three daughters,Mrs. Bessie Moser of Alliance, Mrs. Ida Eglie of Moultrie and MargretDavis at home, and Phoebe Frederick of Louisville, a sister. Funeralservices will be held at the Salem Evangelical Church in charge of Rev.A. H. Miller of Kent and Rev. M. E. Mickey of Homeworth at 2:30 PMTuesday. Burial will be in Salem Evangelical Church Cemetery. Friendsmay call at the Cassidy and Turkel funeral home, alliance, from 7 to 9PM Monday."
