Although there is no documentary evidence to prove Eleanor was the daughter of Joshua Geldart, this has been generally understood to be true. The book "Early Families Revisited "(Ken Kanner) suggests this was true. In 2000 we visited New Brunswick and talked to Vaughan Geldart - he indicated he believed this was the case.
