Eldon Feasel BLOOMDALE -- Eldon G Feasel, 69, of 510 N Garfield St., Bloomdale di ed at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Wood CO Hospital, Bowling Gree n. Born December 31, 1933 in Bloom Twp Wood CO to Ober H & Sylvia L (Brubake r) Feasel, he married Shirley A Young, March 18, 1956 at the Church of Chr ist in Fostoria and she survives in Bloomdale. Also surviving are three sons, Matt (Terri) of Wayne; Jeff (Lori) of Dayto na Beach, Fla.; and Dane (Kim) of Bloomdale; eight grandchildren, Linds ay Feasel, Meredith Feasel, Elizabeth Feasel, Lindsay Vetell, Mitchell Fea sel, Connor Feasel, Dakota Feasel and Nash Feasel. He is also surviv ed by a brother, Vaughn of Bloomdale; and two sisters, Hilda Sockrider, Bo wling Green; and Donna Coppler, Findlay. Preceding him in death are three brothers, Larry L, Clifford D, Lyle; a nd a sister, Thelma Kerr. Mr. Feasel retired in December 2000 from the United States Postal Servi ce as a rural mail carrier. He owned and operated the Bloomdale Barber Sh op and was a former bus driver for Elmwood Schools. Mr. Feasel was a US Ar my veteran having served in Korea. He was a member of the Trinity United M ethodist Church in Bloomdale. Mr. Feasel was a 44 year member of the Bloom dale Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department and past president of the departme nt. He was also a member of Elmwood Athletic Boosters. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith-Crates Funeral H ome, N Baltimore. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 p. m. and one hour before the service Saturday, the Rev. David J Miller offic iating. Interment will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Twp Wood CO. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bloomdale Fire and Rescue Depart ment. |
