Recorded as "son" of Frederick but this is very unlikely if he is aged 17 and Frederick is 31. 1894 - Butcher, living in North Lopham, when he married. 1901 - Living in North Lopham village, with wife, four children and two servants. Butcher and dealer working on his own account. 1903 - Was present when his father died and registered the death. Living in North Lopham. 1904-08 - Listed in Kelly's Norfolk Directory as a butcher and farmer in North Lopham. 1954 - Death Certificate: Death registered in the Sub-district of Ipswich Western, Ipswich Registration District in the County Borough of Ipswich. Date: 19 January 1954 at 13 Cemetery Road, Ipswich. Name: Edwin Womack BEALES, Male, 79 years, Retired Journeyman butcher. Cause of death: Acute hypertensive heart failure due to essential hypertension together with myocardial fibrosis due to coronary atheroma and accelerated by acute bronchitis.
