He married Wilkie Stockdale in approximately 1915.

In 1920 They lived in Clark County, Kentucky. Edward was working as a Carpenter and his mother in law; Dorothy (Stout) Stockadale was living with them. [5]
They were still living in Clark County and he was still doing carpentry work in 1930 through 1940. [6][7]
They were living in Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky, United States when he registered for the World War II Draft on 27 Apr 1942. [2]
He died on June 02, 1968 in Clark, Kentucky, United States. [8]
