Edward Thomas Way GRAHAM — Mr. Edward Thomas Way, 93, of 1212 Dixie St., died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002, at his home after a sudden illness. Born Oct. 29, 1908, in Alamance County, he was the son of the late Arthur Manuel Way and Eula Rich Way. He was retired from Sellers Hosiery Mill Inc. and was a member of First Wesleyan Church. He is survived by a brother, Mr. Desmer Way of Burlington; and his fiancée, Ms. Mae Hughes of the home. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John D. Way and Lloyd Q. Way; and two sisters, Mrs.. Alma W. Longest and Mrs.. Elsie W. Ivey. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gibsonville City Cemetery by the Rev. Jim Rosser, staff member of McClure Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. The family will be at the home. McClure Funeral Home in Burlington is in charge of arrangements
