Edward Waldock was baptised on 30th June 1861 at Great Wymondley in Hertfordshire, son of a straw plaiter named Maria Waldock, formerly Moles, and her husband James Waldock, an agricultural labourer. Edward appears in both the 1871 and 1881 census living with his parents and siblings at Great Wymondley. He has yet to be researched after 1881.
