Research notes

  • Edward is believed to have received a grant of land from Lord Baltimore; as he had 11 sons, he called the place "Eleven Brothers". The 598-1/4 acres piece of land called "Eleven Brothers" was surveyed for Edward Jones on 23 Aug 1786. It was patented to him on 4 Sep 1788.
