This IS a guess. There was a Thomas Gould who came over from England to New England, Boston on the 'Jonathan' in 1639 when he was 32 yrs old. If this Thomas is the father of Thomas b. 1631 Boston then either Thomas b. 1631 was born in England, or Thomas b. 1607 was on a return trip to NE in 1639. I'm leaving it here so that I remember this. NEHG Register: Vol 32 / pg 409.
