Edward Frantz

Edward Frantz, 77, Leavittsburg, was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital at 3:26 p.m. yesterday after suffering a heart attack in his home.
Born Sept. 11, 1877 *, in Clearfield County, Pa., he was the son of Martin and Prudence Haney [Sweeney] Frantz, and had resided in Brockwayville, Pa., before moving to Leavittsburg 30 years ago.
He was a stone mason, and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Frantz had never married.
A sister, Mrs. Minnie Thompson of Warren. several nieces and nephews survive.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the White Funeral Home, where friends may call tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.

* Though his obit gives Sept 11th for his birthdate, both his WWI & WWII Registration states Sept. 4th.
