Compton Edward H. Compton, 69, of 310 Newcastle Road, Westvale, was pronounced dead Monday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, after being stricken at home. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Monette Compton of Westvale; three sisters Mrs. Mary E. Bradley of Suffern, Mrs. Clara Hubbard of Stanley and Mrs. Sarah Myer of Virginia. Several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the John C. Tindall Funeral Home and at 10:00a.m. in Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1921 West Genesee St.
