Obituary: CHESNUT Edward Marques Chesnut, on Monday, October 10, 2005, after evacuating to Shreveport, La. Age 76 years. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Tripolino Chesnut. Son of the late Nathaniel Joseph Chesnut, Sr. and the late Irene Marques Chesnut. Father of Kevin Joseph Chesnut. Father-in-law of Sandra Bernard Chesnut. Grandfather of Alexander Bernard Chesnut. Brother of Mrs. Gloria Brown, Nathaniel Joseph Chesnut Jr. and the late Mrs. Mildred Palmes and the late Mrs. Nathalie LeBlanc. Son-in-law of Mathilde Tripolino. A native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Mrs. Chesnut was a retired Computer Programmer for Entergy Services, Inc.

Private funeral services were held on Monday, October 17, 2005, at 1:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La. interment followed services in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetary, Gretna, La. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation P.O. Box 96280, Washington, D.C. 20077, in memory of Mr. Chesnut.
