RELIGION: Christian - Religious Society of Friends. Certificate to York Monthly Meeting 1842. Disowned by Friends. Margaret Whatmough (his grand-daughter) says he was 'silenced out' of the Friends soon after he married Margaret Just ('and there may have been other misdemeanours as well!!')
