In the name of God Amen, the tenth day of October 1673. I Edward Bembowe clerk, vicar of the parish of Treveglwys in the county of Mountgomery and Diocesse of Bangor being sicke and weake in body but of sound sense & perfect memory, all laud and prayse be to Allmighty God for the same, doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and form following, Imprimis I commend my soule to the hands of my Redeemer by whose merrits alone I trust I shall be saved, and my body to the earth to be buryed in Christian buriall in the parish church of Treveglwys, As for my worldy goodes I dispose of them as followeth / Imprimis I give and bequeath to my loveing brother Roger Bembowe the summe of forty shillings, Item I give unto my brother Roger my sheepe att bargaine with Samuel Gardner. Item I give and bequeath unto my Loveing brothe Charles Bembowe the summe of two pounds. Item I give unto my brother Charles my cheste and bedstead in the middle chamber/ Item I give and bequeath unto My Loveing sister Anne the wife of John Ashton the summe of twenty shillings/ Item I give and bequeath unto my Loveing sister Joan Bembowe the summe of eight pounds Item I give unto my sister Joan my chest bedstead bed, boulster, with all other things thereunto belonging, Item I give and bequeath unto my neece Dorothy Bembowe the daughter of my deceased brother John Bembowe the summe of twenty shillings/ As for the rest of my goodes cattles and chattels I give and bequeath unto my deare father John Bembowe whom I doe nominate and appoint to be sole executor of this my last will & testament In wittnesse whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale the day and year above written,
