27 Mar 1666: "George Lancton of Northampton making request to this Court that they would make a more thorow settlement of the estate w'ch he had with his wife the Relict of Edmund Haynes Late of Springfield deceased ... what estate ye s'd George Lancton hath done or disbursed or disposed to & for the two Elder daughters of ye s'd Edmund Haynes, viz't Hannah & Sarah is & shalbe accounted competent allowance & a sutable porportion for them from such an estate as the s'd George Lancton rec'd with his said wife ... said Geo: Lancton shall allow ye youngest daughter viz't Ruth Haynes the summe of ffoure pounds paid when she shall attayne ye age of Eighteene years:"
