Aug. 26, 1953 - Waterloo Courier (newspaperarchive.com): Mrs. Roy Stoner, 61, of 1520 La Porte Road, died Wednesday at 10:30 a. m. in Allen Memorial lospital of complications following surgery after a brief illness. Born Edith Mae Zahller Feb. 13, 1892, in Union county, Iowa, she was a daughter of Charles M. and Edna Jeter Zahller. Her first marriage was to Clifford Wilkie. He died in 1927...:. -;:^:fc She-was later married at Waterloo in 1927 to Roy Stoner. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist church. In addition to her second husband, Mrs. Stoner is survived by one son, Harold Wilkie, 521% locust St., and four sisters, Mrs. Frank Tuttle, Oklawaha, Fla.; Mrs. E. H. Matthias, 124 Clyde Circle, and Mrs. Vern W. Jolls and Miss Iva Zahller, 152 Williston Ave. There are also two brothers, licence L. Zahller and Ardo Zahller, Denver, Colo.
