Matthias, 508 Frederic avenue. The open house will be from 2 until 5 o'clock this afternoon. • The refreshment table will be centered with a three-4iered anniversary cake topped with a bridal couple and small golden belLs." At either side will be gold tapers in crystal candelabra. Before her marriage on Jan. 10 1891, Mrs. Zahller was Miss Edna Jane Jeter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James' L. Jeter, of Thayer, la. Mr. Zahller is the son of Mr. and .Mrs. Henry. Zahller of Thayer. The wedding was in Thayer, where the couple lived until 1913, when they moved to Waterloo. : Mr. and Mrs. Zahller are the parents of seven children, Mrs. Roy Stoner, 1520 La Porte road; C. L. Zahller and Iva Zahller, at home; Mrs. Frank L. Tuttle of Hollywood, Fla.; Mrs. .Vern W. Jolls, 152 Williston avenue; A. E. Zahller of Denver, Colo., and Mrs.'Matthias. Word has been received here of the death of Charles M. Zahller, 87, a former Waterloo resident. He died Monday morning in Longview, Tex. of complications after suffering a broken hip in a fall. He was on his way from his home in Oklawaha, Fla. to Denver, Colo. when the mishap took place. Among the survivors are three daughters in Waterloo. They are Mrs. Roy Stoner, 1520 LaPorte Rd.; Mrs. E. H. Matthais, 124 Clyde Circle and Mrs. Vern Jolls, 152 Williston Ave. The body will be returned to Oklawaha for funeral services and burial. - May 25, 1953 - Waterloo Daily Courier.
