Edith's obituary reads, "SISTER MARY WILFREDA RYAN. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the chapel of the Catherine Kasper Home in Donaldson for Sister Mary Wilfreda Ryan, 88, a member of the Poor Hand Maids of Jesus Christ. She died Thursday in the order's home in Donaldson. Sister Wilfreda, a native of Besancon, served the order in St. Joseph's Hospital, Fort Wayne, for several years. Surviving are a sister, Agnes Ryan; and a brother, Leonard Ryan, both of Fort Wayne. Burial will be in the order's cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home, Plymouth." She is buried at the Cemetery at Donaldson, Indiana.
