Obituary from Anderson Daily Bulletin, Tuesday, 6 July 1943, Page 11 MRS. EDITH SIMS DIES OF ILLNESS

  Mrs. Edith Sims, age 69, wife of Charles B. Sims, died at 12:20 a.m. today at the family home, 2924 Brown Street. She had resided in Anderson since 1916.
  Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. George McDonald and Mrs. Alta Little, and one son, Carl E.Trutt, of Bakersfield, Calif.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  The body will remain  at the Baker Brothers funeral home after 7:30 o'clock this evening. The hour of the funeral servives has not been set. The rites will be held in the East Lynn Christian Church, with Rev. R. Powell Mead, in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
