Edgar Reney McMullen was born on 17th November 1898. He was the first child of Richard McMullen and Jessie Smith.

The 1901 Census took place on 31st March 1901. Edgar was living with his parents at 84 Grange Mount, Heswall, Wirral, Cheshire, England, aged 2.

On 20th February 1902, Edgar's younger brother, Harry McMullen was born.

Edgar's younger sister Jessie McMullen was born in 1905. She died in 1910.

The 1911 census took place on. Edgar lived with his parents, younger brother, and paternal grandfather James McMullen. They were living in School Hill, Heswall, Wirral, Cheshire, England.

Edgar served in World War I. He was a Private in the 2nd Durham Light Infantry. His regimental number was 78025 . He was entitled to both the Victory Medal and the British War Medal. After World War I finished, he was posted to the Class Z Army reserve.

On 25th February 1922, Edgar emigrated from Liverpool aboard the S.S Cameronia. He arrived in New York on 8th March 1922.

On April 23rd 1926, he married Cecil Marie Schudder, in Portland Oregon.

On the 25th August 1929, he petitioned for Citizenship of the United States.

The 1930 US Census took place on the 1st April 1930. Edgar was living with his wife in 220 Halstead Street, Pasadena, Los Angeles, which they were renting. Edgar was a steam engineer.

Edgar was made a naturalized American Citizen on the 11th July 1930, by the US District court, at Los Angles, California. (Petition Number 30149).

On 1st April 1935, Edgar and Cecil were residing in Arcadia, California.

The 1940 US Census took place on 1st April 1940. Edgar was residing in Pasedena, Los Angles, California, with his wife. He was a caretaker at a public school.

Edgar Reney McMullen died on 29th July 1984 in Marion, Oregon. He was buried in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, Marion County, Oregon on 31st July 1984
