In Penobscot at 1850 census, real estate valued at $1500. In Penobscot at 1860 with real estate valued at $1800 and personal estate valued at $700. In Penobscot at 1870 with real estate valued at $1500 and personal estate value of $665. Living with Daughter Clara and her husband in Castine at 1880 Census.

"Ebenezer and Lovinia died within two months of each other. He died in June of 1882 and she died in August. They both died in Testate and at the time of their death only three of their eight children were living, according to the Probated Will. The three daughters were Adeline m. Washington M. Wardwell, Clara m. Jairus Dunbar, Jr., and Emily m. Albert H. Dunbar.

The farm was sold at auction according to the probated Will. In the Registry of Deed it is Book # 30 Page314 sold to Ebenezer Wardwell by Philip Jarvis, Representative of the Commonwealth. As far as I can figure out, from the Original Map 1795, I believe it to be #18. It has 91 acres and when looking at the 1880 map, they would coincide with where E Wardwell is on that map.

In the 1860 Census Eben and Lovinia have an additional child Ida who is 8. (Eben was 63 and Lovinia 43 when Ida was born) She is attending school and seems to have no problems at this time.
