From the book The Westfall Country-I am not sure of his place of birth. On his application for a delayed birth cert. he stated that he was born in Teton, Post Office, Wyoming. His affidvat by his brother and sister says that he was born in Teton, (on Bear Rive) in the state (then territory) of Wyoming. I used the closest name in the Geo list. near the Bear River. It is however in Uinta County. Teton further up north in that same county but not near Bear River.

O. Box 521 street, city of Ontario, that his race or color is white, that he was born at Teton, Post Office, in ______, State (or country) of Wyoming, on the 21st day of November in the year 1884, and that his birth is not of record with the State Registrar of Vital Statistics of the State of Oregon, or of public record in any state of the United States;
   That the name of the petitioner's father wasAndrew Hit; that he was born at Marion County, in ________, State (or country) of Illinois on the 5th day of December, in the year 1840, and at the time of petitioner's birth was a resdient of Teton, Post Office in ________, state (or country) of Wyoming;
   That the name of petitioner's mother was Nacy Hariett Hite, and her maiden name was Nancy Harriett Mattise; that she was born at P. O. Unknown, in _______, state (or country) of Indiana on the day of date unknown, in the year 185, and at the time of petitioner's birth was a resident of Teton Post Office in ________, State (or country) of Wyoming.    Note: His middle name is spelled wrong but a letter crossed out. The correct spelling from other documents is Lucius. His mother's first name is incorrectly spelled but then corrected in the maiden name. Affidavits from Mae Westfall and Oral Rudolph Hite included.
