OBITUARY From the Thomasville Daily Times Enterprise, Thomasville, GA August 24, 1918

EARL TULLIS DEAD Death of Young Man Occured Last Evening After Illness Protracted Through Several Years

Mr. Earl Griffin Tullis died last night at 6:30 o?clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. B. G. Tullis on West Jefferson street. He had been an invalid for several years, gradually grower (sic) weaker until death ended his sufferings.

Mr. Tullis was born in Thomasville and all his life had been spent here. He was thirty-one years of age and a young man possessed of high characteristics and qualities that made him many friends to whom his death will bring sorrow.

Mr. Tullis is survived by his mother, one sister, Mrs. Eddie Allen of Greenville, S. C., and two brothers, Messrs. Harry Tullis of this city and Frank Tullis of McComb, Miss.

The funeral took place this afternoon at 5 o?clock at the residence and was conducted by the Rev. J. E. Seals. The interment was in Laurel Hill cemetery.

The pall bearers were Messrs. John Beverly, B. C. Wright, Bill McMath, Sim Davis, and Bob Dixon.
