Earl H.A. Walbert, 76, of Bethlehem, died April 14 in St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Christine J. (Wotring) Walbert and they would have been married for 50 years in May. He was a truck driver for Harold Stephens for 37 years before retiring in 1983. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John D. and Mary R. (Schmoyer) Walbert. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 576, Allentown, serving as commander, 1974-76, as adjutant for more than 30 years and as past 14th District deputy.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Daryl P. of Lehighton, Dane C.; daughters, Diane J. Carr of Bath, Donna A. Albert of Whitehall; brother, Harold J. of Whitehall; sister, Arlene M. Walbert of Allentown; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Stephens Funeral Home Inc., 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday.
