Personal History

Dorothy Jepson, daughter of James Jepson of 16 Heaton Road, architect, by Margaret Ann[2] Wight,[1] was born on 16 November 1892 and was baptized on 5 March 1893 in the parish of St Thomas, Heaton Norris, Lancashire[2] (the birth was registered in the district of Stockport[1]).

On 29 September 1915, Ernest Dove (age 34) of Heaton Moor, manager and son of Edwin Dove, restaurant proprietor, and Dorothy Jepson (age 22) of Heaton Mersey, daughter of James Jepson, architect, were married by banns in the parish church of St Paul, Heaton Moor, co. Lancaster.

Death and Probate

Dorothy Dove then of Honford Lodge, Handforth, Cheshire, died there on 28 October 1980[4] (the death was registered in the district of Macclesfield[3]).

On 17 December 1980 at Manchester, her will was proved and administration was granted. Her estate was in the amount of £3831.[4]
