Doris W. Terminato, 89, of Claysville, died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in Humbert Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Strabane Township, after being in failing health since February.
She was born September 27, 1922, in Scenery Hill, daughter of the late Thomas Clarence and Lillian Mae Crumrine Wilson.
Mrs. Terminato had resided in the Claysville area since 1958 and was a member of Claysville United Methodist Church.
She was also a member of Claysville American Legion Auxiliary and the former Claysville Grange. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles and crafting.
On March 4, 1949, she married Joseph Terminato, who died July 21, 1992.
Surviving are a daughter, Wendy, wife of J. Brent Pearson of Valley Grove, W.Va.; two sons, Ronald Terminato and Larry, husband of Linda Terminato, both of Claysville; five grandchildren, Amanda Terminato Hall, Angela, Aimee and John Andrew Terminato and Jaycee Yocum; a stepgrandson, Kevin Chenney; three great-grandchildren, Samantha Higgins and Alexis and Enon Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are three brothers, Thomas, Robert and David Wilson.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in Claysville United Methodist Church, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, with the Rev. Rico Vespa officiating. Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
