"Mrs. Dora M. Good, 62, former Bascom resident, died Monday morning, January 10, 1944, at the home of her son, Adelbert C. Good, of Detroit, Mich, after an illness with influenza. She had been in failing health for nearly ten years. Mrs. Good was born April 7, 1882, in Monroeville, to Levi and Rose (Beck) Sutton. She was married in november, 1902, to Winfeld Clay Good, who died in 1905. After her husband's death, Mrs. Good lived for many years in Bascom. She is survived by two sons, Clayton L., and Adelert, both of Detroit, and one half brother, Arthur Moorehead of Monroeville. There are six grandchildren. Funeral servies will be held at 1 plm. Thursday at Bascom Methodist church. Burial will be made in Monroeville."
