Mr. Donald Lloyd Hunsberger, 50, of Mitchell passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 20, 2004. Beloved husband of Shelly (Henderson) Hunsberger. Loving father of Shawn Edward James Hunsberger and his special friend Alicia Wolfe and Shane Lloyd Daniel Hunsberger and his special friend Elizabeth Nash; dear son of Florence (Chapman) Hunsberger of Mitchell and the late Edward Hunsberger; dear brother of Kathleen Irving of Shelburne, Ken Hunsberger and wife Sherri of Mitchell, Robert Hunsberger and wife Bernice of RR2, Mitchell and Mary Ellen Wright and husband Benjamin of Stratford; dear half brother of Mike Bis and wife Pat of Nottingham, England; dear son-in-law of Audrey Henderson of Mitchell; dear brother-in-law of Robert Henderson and wife Debra of Mitchell. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father-in-law James Henderson, brother-in-law James Irving and a brother in infancy. Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Camillia LaRouche officiating. During the service, words of remembrance were spoke by Kathleen Irving and Ken Hunsberger. Esther and Richard Rose sang "I Walk With His Hand In Mine" accompanied by Carolyn Paulen. Flower bearers were Bob Irving, Jon Hunsberger, Willie Van Den Hoven, David Koonar, Jimmy Henderson, Glen Hofstetter, Theron Howe and Ray Murray. Pall bearers were George Howe, Allan Gilbert, Ralph McLean, Elmer Bauman, Steve Murray and Rick Bauman. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Mitchell.
