Donald Grant, Jr, usually called Captain Donald, was a taxpayer in 1805, and continued one near 60 years. He resided about two miles south of Stamford village, on the road leading to the Town Plot, where his days were numbered on the eighth of November, 1862. The number of his years were 82.
